The NCB 24kW is a highly reliable, wall-mountable, Combi gas boiler, designed and manufactured by Navien.
The 24kW output rating makes Navien’s NCB, suitable for smaller homes with 1 bathroom that don’t have such a high demand for heating and hot water. Not only is the NCB reliable, it’s highly efficient, as you can see from the seasonal efficiency rating of 92%, which gives it an ErP A rating.
Navien have made sure the NCB has many features, including it being integrated with a primary and secondary stainless steel heat exchanger to help prevent corrosion and erosion and helping for an extended life time; a full modulation system continuously optimizing its heat output; extended venting up to 20m for flexible installation; an optional outdoor weather sensor; self-diagnosis and error feedback; a stylish touch-type control panel that adds visual appeal but also makes sure you have maximum control over the unit and the ability to regulate the heating temperature depending on outside temperatures.
The NCB also comes OpenTherm ready, to give you the latest control technology, as well as cutting the costs of installation. In terms of fuel, while this model is a gas boiler, it’s also available as an LPG unit.
Should a 24kW output rating not be strong enough to meet your home’s heating and hot water demands, the NCB range also includes several other outputs: 28kW, 34kW and 40kW. 28kW is ideal for medium-sized homes that don’t have an excessive need for heating and hot water, while the 34kW and 40kW boilers are better for larger homes with 2 or more bathrooms that have a high demand for heating and hot water.
As the NCB is a Combi boiler, it supplies hot water and heating on demand using the mains water supply. Removing the need for any bulky tanks or storage cylinders.
