The D2CND Combi gas boiler is a highly reliable compact condensing unit that has been designed and manufactured by Daikin.
Daikin have manufactured a highly efficient boiler that comes with an efficiency rating of 93% and an ErP A rating for heating and hot water. With an output rating of 24kW, this unit is perfect for medium sized homes that don’t have such an excessive need for heating and hot water. The range also includes models with outputs of 28kW and 35kW too if you live in a larger homes. As well as all of this, the D2CND has a flow rate of 12 litres a minute.
As a compact unit that can be wall mounted, the D2CND can be installed in a cupboard to keep it out of sight and help you to save space around the home. Its compact size doesn’t stop the unit boasting many features though: plug and play replacement along with low lift weight make for easy installation, a high modulation rate that has an automatic adjustment so the burner power has a seamless and continuous operation that lowers the risk of failure as well as neutralising harmful substances from the emissions that may occur during ignition.
The D2CND can be connected to the Daikin online controller that allows you to control and monitor the status, power consumption and energy consumption of the boiler. You’ll also be able to set the temperature and operation mode with up to 6 actions per day for 7 days and put the unit into holiday or intuitive mode. You will be able to control the operation mode and set temperature and remotely control your system and domestic hot water, as well as control with third party products and services integration with things like IFFT.
The performance of the boiler is constantly monitored by the Daikin-Eye and it also features premix technology to deliver high efficiency combustion by using a modulation fan to perfectly mix combustion air and fuel before it reaches the burner (air/gas mixer).
As this is a Combi boiler, it supplies hot water and heating on demand by using the mains water supply which means that you don’t need to have any tanks or cylinders, perfect for smaller homes or properties where space is limited.
