The ATAG IC24 is a condensing gas-fired wall-mounted combi boiler that's ideal for smaller properties thanks to its compact size.
How efficient is the ATAG iC24?
ATAG iC combi boilers are highly efficient and could help to save you money on your heating bills. This is thanks to an efficiency rating of 94% which makes it an ErP A-rated boiler.
When paired with an ATAG ONEZone smart controller, the ErP rating increases to A+.
Is the output rating suitable for my home?
Combi boilers have 2 separate output ratings that it's important to look out for: a central heating (CH) output and a domestic hot water (DHW) output. The ATAG iC 24 has a CH output of 23.2 kW and DHW output of 26.6 kW. This makes it well suited to properties with around 10 radiators and a single bathroom.
Are any other options available in the ATAG iC combi boiler range?
In addition to the iC24, this range includes 3 more powerful models known as the iC28, iC36 and iC40. The iC40 is the most powerful combi in the range with a CH output of 31.2 kW and DHW output of 42 kW.
Is a combi boiler suitable for my home?
Combi boilers are a great option for small to medium-sized properties with 1-2 bathrooms. This is because they provide hot water on demand as and when needed rather than storing it in a cylinder, like a system or regular boiler. While this is great in terms of space-saving and getting instant hot water at all times, it does limit the amount of hot water they can provide. So, if your property has a high demand for hot water, you might be better off with a system boiler.
How long is the warranty period?
All ATAG boilers are available with a standard warranty of 10 years which can be extended to up to 11, 12 or even 14 years.
To increase the warranty to 11 years, an Adey Atom filter must be installed. For a 12 year warranty, an ATAG water treatment pack must be used in addition to the installation of an Adey Atom filter. For the maximum 14 year warranty, an ATAG ONEZone smart controller must be fitted as well as all of the above.
What are the key features of the ATAG iC24?
The features of this boiler include it being quiet in operation, having an iCon heat exchanger with a lifetime guarantee, a weather compensator allowing you to never get back to a cold house again and it’s also completely user-friendly to give you maximum control over the unit.
How big is the ATAG iC24?
This is a compact combi boiler, with dimensions of 700x440x355mm (hxwxd), which means that it be can be installed within a standard kitchen cupboard to save you space around the home.
