The number of new boiler enquiries made through Boiler Guide increased by a massive 43% in 2020.
Over the past 12 months, we’ve provided heating engineers with more work than ever before. That’s despite the effects of the pandemic, the Green Industrial Revolution, and the call for a gas boiler ban.
Compared to 2019, enquiries for new gas boiler and gas boiler servicing both rose considerably.

Enquiries for boiler repairs and maintenance were down slightly at 6% from 2019. An indication that homeowners are looking to replace their boiler to improve heating efficiency.

To keep an eye on the quality of our leads we get back in touch with enquirers to ask if they went ahead with the new boiler installation after getting quotes. Here’s what our survey of those who made an enquiry in 2020 revealed…

There’s no sign of things slowing down either as January 2021 saw enquiries shoot up by 48% compared to last year.
