The Kitchen Utility Classic KUT2 is a highly reliable, non-condensing regular oil boiler that can be installed in a kitchen or utility room and has been designed and manufactured by Mistral.
This is an efficient unit, shown through its efficiency rating of 87% and B rating. An output rating of 26kW makes this unit perfect for smaller homes, with 1 bathroom, that don’t have such a high demand for heating and hot water. There’s no shortage of choice though as it’s available as either a condensing or non-condensing unit that can be installed internally or externally and with a range of outputs from 15kW to 70kW, meaning that there’s a boiler in this range capable of suiting the heating and hot water demands of just about any home.
Compact in size, this unit measures at only 410mm wide, meaning that it’s able to fit under a standard work surface, saving you space in the home. Despite its size, it’s still able to feature a centrally located Y section waterway heat exchanger that’s used in condensing models, 2 or 4 port option, front servicing, high-quality casing, multi-directional flue outlet, conventional or balanced flue option, a pre-punched pipe access point, can be used in tandem operation and is suitable for a sealed system.
As this is a Regular boiler, it heats your central heating system directly and also produces hot water for your cylinder. Due to the fact that you need a hot water cylinder, often fed by a cold water storage cistern in the loft, Regular boilers aren’t suitable for smaller properties where space is limited.
Available with a 5 year warranty, you’ll be well covered long after the installation.
