Electricity is one of the alternatives and it offers a number of benefits: zero emissions, no risk of a carbon monoxide leak, quick response to turning the central heating on, flexible installation, no need for a flue or condensate pipe and fewer moving parts which reduces the chance of a fault.

SlimJim Flow electric boilers have a number of features, including virtually silent operation, space-saving minimalistic design, choice between volt free or 230v control connections, 6-stage heating, easy fit connectors and sensors, inbuilt fault finding diagnostics, suitable for S-plan configuration (allows you to select heating only or hot water only or both at the same time), a unique run dry water level sensor that protects the heat exchanger from running dry in the event of system water loss, a stainless steel heat exchanger that’s fully insulated to minimise energy heat loss, a boiler temperature range of between 30-80 degrees and a unique high current safety cut-out device to protect the boiler from overheating.
